    Product Description

The simplest and most common Cross is the Latin Cross, which may not have come into use until the 2nd or 3rd Century. The empty cross, usually favored by Protestants, reminds Christians of the resurrection, while the crucifix, with Jesus on it, favored by Catholic and Orthodox churches, is a reminder of Christ's sacrifice.

Made tough for the many Catholic Americans serving in our Armed Forces, this Genuine U.S. Military Issue Long Cross is precision carved out of non-magnetic, non reactive, brite finished, 100% 304 stainless steel. It has a 24" stainless steel dog tag chain and is 1 1/8" tall x 11/16" wide x 3/32" thick.

100% MADE IN THE USA... Lifetime Warranty.

The long military cross, isn’t quite what I thought it was going to be, it’s smaller, but it seems ok, the price was good.

The cross is exactly like the description. Arrived in less than a week. Make sure you look at the dimensions to know the size. The finish is a flat non-reflective finish for military usage. Solid stainless steel. I took some metal polish and a Dremel tool and within 5 mins. I had a mirror like finish. The chain is stainless steel and seems ok. The cross and chain are made in the US and the chain clasp has USA etched on it. One thing is that the cross has a 5 character alpha-numeric code engraved on it, I checked the manufacturer site and this is a government mandated id code. No big deal, that is the side I use as the back, but I wasn't expecting it.
